Loft Conversions
How will we cope with the mess?
We put scaffolding up at the start of the project and the majority of loft conversion is done from the outside. We only break through the ceiling when the loft conversion has been plaster-boarded, and the majority of the dusty work in the roof space is completed. Before breaking through we tape up around the doors and put sheets on the floor to protect your carpets. We will vacuum as we go where dust may be an issue.
Most loft conversions take 8 weeks from the start of building work to completion, when the plaster finish is ready for decoration and your loft conversion is ready for hand-over.
There are two main types of loft conversion. The Dorma window conversion or the introduction of velux windows into the roof. Obviously the Dorma takes longer than a basic Velux. We cover all areas of the North West inclding Cheshire, Manchester, Altrincham, Stockport and Wimslow.
